Rocquaine Residential Extension: Blending modern design and restoration

Rocquaine Residential Extension: Blending modern design and restoration

Hidden away in St Peters, the Rocquaine residential extension and refurbishment project represents a collaborative effort between both our Architecture and Surveying departments.

This project transformed an existing home, originally starting with the simple goal of replacing an outdated conservatory, and evolved into a full-scale refurbishment after adverse weather caused significant flooding in late 2016.

Rocquaine Residential Extension: Blending modern design and restoration

Our architect team designed a sleek, modern extension, that focused on maximising the natural light. Large glazed facades, rooflights, and an open-flow layout were used to create a bright and spacious living area that blends seamlessly into the core of the existing home.

The surveyors, in turn, oversaw the entire refurbishment, ensuring that the house was not only restored but improved in terms of functionality and design. The end result is a modern, light-filled home that offers the homeowners both comfort and style, perfectly suited to their needs.
