Building Disputes

#DrawingOnIntelligence

Building Disputes can arise for a number of reasons; a property owner may be dissatisfied with the quality of work carried out by their Contractor or there could be a problem that has not been resolved during the project.  Disputes can also arise due to the cost of works and either party may be in disagreement as to how much is owing at the end of a Contract.  Issues can also arise between neighbours or with a Property Owner and Insurers over the scope of works to be carried out following a claim on the buildings policy.

At Lovell Ozanne we regularly advise Clients in such situations, be they Property Owners, Contractors, Insurers or Legal Advisers.

Ross Paisley has over thirty years’ experience advising on building problems and disputes, insurance matters, Contracts and acting as Expert/Witness.

Andrew Ozanne has over thirty five years’ experience in many aspects of the Construction Industry and is an experienced Arbitrator, Mediator and Adjudicator.

Chris Richardson has twenty five years’ experience advising on building technical problems, defects and solutions.
